Notes

  • ESP32-S3FN8; 8 MB flash. ESP32-S3FN8 ordering code has no PSRAM, per Espressif's ESP32-S3 series datasheet
  • BM8563 RTC, WS1850S 13.56MHz RFID, rotary encoder (16 detents/64 pulses per rev), 80dB buzzer, 1.25mm-2P battery connector with onboard charging circuit (battery sold separately), PORT.A/PORT.B GPIO expansion
  • io.gpio_free=4 DERIVED, not quoted (SPEC-io-power.md §5.3). Vendor pinmap page states the two HY2.0-4P ports: "PORT.A | G13 | G15", "PORT.B | G2 | G1" -- 4 pads total (13, 15, 1, 2), none shared with the I2C/RTC/buzzer/encoder/display/touch pins the same page lists elsewhere. Subtracting esp32-s3's soc.reserved_pins that are exposed on those 4 -- none of strapping {0,3,45,46} or usb_flash_tied {19,20,35,36,37} match -- leaves all 4 free: 4 - 0 = 4. Math not vendor-stated; verify before treating as exact.

Verify my board

Reads the connected chip over USB and checks it against what esp-atlas cites for Dial — over Web Serial, no backend, nothing leaves your browser.

In-browser verify needs Web Serial: Chrome or Edge on a desktop. Safari, Firefox and phones cannot do it.

Not connected.
