Notes
- ESP32-D0WDQ6-V3; 16 MB flash
- ESP32-D0WDQ6-V3 chip variant has no PSRAM per Espressif's ESP32 series ordering table
- M.2-style MicroMod edge connector; requires a MicroMod carrier board (not sold with one). USB is routed through MicroMod connector pads to the carrier board rather than exposed on the processor board itself
- Onboard status LED and 2.4GHz WiFi/BLE antenna
- io.gpio_exposed=13 QUOTED: vendor hookup guide states "The MicroMod connector supports a total of 12 general purpose IO pins, 7 of which are used on the ESP32 Processor, on top of the 6 dedicated pins" -- 7 general-purpose + 6 dedicated = 13, summing the two vendor-stated integers directly (no estimation)
- io.gpio_free intentionally OMITTED: this is a MicroMod M.2-style edge-card processor board with no standalone header -- its pins land on a card-edge connector meant to mate with a separate MicroMod carrier board, not a breadboard-style GPIO header a user can wire into directly. gpio_free presumes a usable header; it does not apply here
Verify my board
Reads the connected chip over USB and checks it against what esp-atlas cites for SparkFun MicroMod ESP32 Processor — over Web Serial, no backend, nothing leaves your browser.
In-browser verify needs Web Serial: Chrome or Edge on a desktop. Safari, Firefox and phones cannot do it.
